Residents of Clarksburg, MD who fall victim to a heart attack will now have access to an automated external defibrillator (AED), courtesy of Adventist HealthCare.
The defibrillator is being presented tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Clarksburg Civic Center meeting. It is being held at the Ombudsman's Office at 23201 Stringtown Road in the Highlands Shopping Center.
Adventist HealthCare will also offer CPR and AED training to the Clarksburg community.
As you may know, Adventist HealthCare is currently in the planning stages for construction of a hospital and medical campus at Route 121 and I-270 in Clarksburg, with the intention of expanding health care services available to upper Montgomery County.
